Jupally Krishna Rao reviews 99-day action plan implementation

Hyderabad: Minister for Excise and Prohibition, Tourism and Culture, and Archaeology, Jupally Krishna Rao directed officials to implement the state government’s 99-day action plan effectively across districts.

During a review, the minister asked departments to speed up pending works related to irrigation projects. He also instructed officials to complete land acquisition processes without delay.

At the same time, he asked authorities to take advance measures to prevent drinking water shortages during the summer season.

Jupally Krishna Rao also reviewed the issue related to CMR rice procurement. He instructed officials to submit a comprehensive report on paddy recovery and the progress of related cases by April 30.

The minister further directed officials to link details of outsourcing employees with Aadhaar numbers and bank accounts. Such integration, he said, would help prevent irregularities.

The minister also emphasised strict action against illegal activities in the districts. He asked officials to curb drug trafficking, illegal sand transportation and unlawful mining.

In addition, he advised authorities to organise meetings with parents to increase student enrolment in schools and colleges.

Jupally Krishna Rao also instructed officials to resolve public grievances within 10 to 15 days.

At the same time, he stressed the need to use technology to ensure that welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries in a transparent manner.

The minister said officials must work with commitment to achieve the goals of the people’s government under Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.

He also urged district administrations to accelerate development and welfare programmes so that government services reach people quickly.
