3 sitting MLAs booked for flouting poll code during Jubilee Hills by-election

Hyderabad: Hyderabad City Police registered three cases for Model Code of Conduct violations during polling for the Jubilee Hills Assembly by-election.

Madhuranagar Police booked sitting MLAs Beerla Ilaiah, Ramachandranayak, and Ramdas in two separate cases. Borabanda Police filed a third case against former MLAs Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar and Methuku Anand.

City Police Commissioner’s office confirmed legal proceedings had begun against all five accused. Officials stressed the need to follow the election code to ensure peaceful and fair polling.

Police also urged the public to report any violations by dialling 100. They said public cooperation plays a vital role in upholding democratic values.
