Hyderabad: A 25-year-old man from Siricilla district died by suicide, reportedly distressed over persistent unemployment despite holding higher educational qualifications.
The incident occurred in Narmala village of Gambhiraopet mandal. The deceased, identified as Lokam Srikanth, had completed higher studies but was unable to secure a job despite repeated efforts.
According to police, Srikanth hanged himself from a tree in the village. Preliminary information suggests he had grown increasingly despondent over his inability to find employment.
Police registered a case based on a complaint lodged by his mother. Further investigation is underway.
