Jagtial BRS meeting on April 20; leaders inspect venue

Hyderabad: Senior BRS leaders inspected a site along Mothe Road in Jagtial district for the April 20 public meeting of former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Former ministers Koppula Eshwar and Jeevan Reddy led the inspection. District president Vidyasagar Rao and MLC L Ramana also took part. They reviewed access points and crowd movement plans. Meanwhile, local teams checked basic arrangements at the venue.

Jagtial BRS meeting preparations gather pace ahead of rally

During the visit, Koppula Eshwar said the state had turned unstable within two years. He alleged that the Congress government failed to fulfil its promises. He added that the meeting would send a clear signal to the government.

Further, he said Jeevan Reddy’s entry had strengthened the party in north Telangana. As a result, he pointed to improved coordination across districts. He linked the shift to growing mobilisation ahead of the meeting.

Leaders confirmed that K Chandrashekar Rao would attend the Jagtial BRS meeting. They said preparations were underway for a large turnout. At present, teams were working to handle a crowd of one lakh people.

MLA Dr Sanjay attended the inspection. Former ZP chairman DVS Raju was present. Former Karimnagar ZP chairperson Tula Uma also joined. In addition, Ellala Srikanth Reddy, Loka Bapu Reddy and town president Venkateswara Rao took part.
