IndiGo announces refund process for cancelled flights amid disruption

Hyderabad: IndiGo Airlines on Monday said it has started processing refunds for tickets cancelled between December 3 and 15. This addresses growing concerns among customers affected by widespread disruptions.

In a statement, the airline said passengers who booked travel within that period and faced cancellations or delays can now claim refunds. Change and cancellation fee waivers are also being offered for bookings valid until December 15.

The airline apologised for the inconvenience caused. They assured that their staff are working round the clock to resume regular operations at the earliest.

Refunds to be credited in multiple transactions

Passengers were advised to fill in cancellation details via a provided link. IndiGo stated that refunds may appear in bank accounts across one or two transactions, depending on the booking.
