Hyderabad, February 7: Hyderabad City Police delivered an impressive performance at the State-Level Police Sports Meet held in Karimnagar, securing 132 medals, including 67 gold, 32 silver, and 23 bronze. Their success also earned them nine overall championship titles.
In recognition of their achievement, Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand felicitated the medal winners at a special ceremony. Speaking at the event, Mr. Anand commended the athletes for balancing rigorous law enforcement duties with their passion for sports. He emphasized the importance of discipline, teamwork, and resilience, noting that physical fitness enhances an officer’s ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Encouraging the athletes to continue their success, the Commissioner urged them to perform well at the upcoming All India Police Sports Meet. He assured full administrative support to help them train at the highest level.
Senior officers, including Additional DCPs N. Bhaskar and B. Kishtayya, as well as ACP (CAR Sports Officer) Kishan Rao, attended the event and lauded the police personnel’s dedication.
