Hyderabad: Hyderabad Metro Rail will extend its service hours till 1 AM on New Year’s Eve to help revellers return home safely. The last trains from all terminal stations will depart precisely at 1 AM, marking the occasion as Hyderabad Metro till 1 AM.
At the same time, Hyderabad Police have announced strict restrictions to ensure public safety during the celebrations on December 31. This extension to Metro till 1 AM aims to support these measures by providing safe transportation. Police will conduct drunk driving checks across the city starting from midnight.
Police ban cake cutting, stunts, crackers on city roads
Authorities have banned roadside cake cutting, bike stunts, fireworks, and vehicles with modified silencers. They have also warned against any unruly behavior. The availability of Metro till 1 AM gives citizens a safer travel option.
Police issued a clear warning that violators will face serious legal action. Officials urged citizens to celebrate responsibly and follow the guidelines to ensure a safe transition into the New Year.
