Hyderabad: Residential property registrations in Hyderabad increased by 5% year-on-year in October 2025. The total transaction value rose sharply by 25%, driven by festive demand and higher premium housing sales, according to Knight Frank India.
Registrations for homes priced above ₹1 crore jumped 73% year-on-year. These transactions made up 23% of total sales and 54% of the total value. The weighted average price of registered homes climbed 15%, with Rangareddy district recording a 22% increase.
Premium housing drives Hyderabad real estate growth
Between January and October 2025, the city recorded 61,699 home registrations 5% fewer than the same period last year. However, the total value reached ₹43,048 crore, reflecting a growing preference for high-end properties.
Knight Frank noted that more buyers are opting for larger and costlier homes. This shift underscores Hyderabad’s position as one of India’s most aspirational housing markets. The city continues to witness a steady move toward premiumisation in its residential real estate sector.
