Hyderabad: Two trucks were destroyed in a fire following a head-on collision on the Hyderabad Bengaluru highway (NH-44) near Narayanapuram village in Manopadu mandal of Alampur on Friday.
Police said one truck was carrying tomatoes to Bengaluru, while the other was transporting stones. After the collision, both vehicles caught fire.
The drivers and cleaners escaped by jumping out. Driver Rajshekhar and cleaner Ramakrishna sustained minor injuries and were admitted to the government hospital in Kurnool.
Both trucks were gutted completely in the incident.
