HYDERABAD, February 12: Former minister and senior BRS leader T. Harish Rao has commenced a padayatra from the Sangameshwara Temple, aiming to engage with the public and address their grievances. The march, which started on Wednesday, is expected to cover multiple villages, allowing Rao to interact with locals and understand their concerns.
During the padayatra, Harish Rao highlighted various issues related to governance, development, and welfare schemes. Addressing the gathering, he criticised the Congress-led state government for failing to implement crucial policies and neglecting the promises made to the people. He reaffirmed his commitment to standing with the public and raising their concerns at the appropriate platforms.
The event witnessed a strong turnout, with supporters and party workers joining the walk. Several local leaders and community members participated, voicing their expectations from the leadership.
Harish Rao’s padayatra is seen as a significant political move, particularly in the backdrop of upcoming local body elections. Political analysts believe this initiative could strengthen the BRS’s outreach and mobilise grassroots support in the region.
