Hyderabad: A Hanumakonda chain snatching incident was reported after two unidentified men allegedly robbed a woman of her gold chain outside her house in Subedari Excise Colony.
According to police, the incident occurred on Friday morning when the woman was drawing a rangoli in front of her home.
The victim, identified as Navya, lives in Subedari Excise Colony in Hanumakonda.
Police said two men arrived on a motorcycle and approached the woman. Soon after, they snatched her gold chain and fled the scene.
The chain snatching left residents in the area concerned about safety.

Navya later filed a complaint at the Subedari Police Station regarding the chain snatching.
Based on the complaint, police registered a case and began an investigation.
Inspector Ranjith Kumar said officers were examining the incident and searching for the suspects.
Police are also reviewing available clues to identify the two men involved in the chain snatching.
Authorities said further investigation into the case is underway.
