Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau officials on Tuesday arrested AOM Sunitha, senior assistant in the Property Tax Wing at Moosapet Circle-23 under GHMC, after she accepted a ₹30,000 bribe from a complainant to clear a property mutation file.
ACB City Range-2 Unit caught Sunitha while she took the bribe for initiating and processing the mutation file related to a house currently registered in the complainant’s mother’s name and to fix the property tax.
The cash was recovered from Sunitha, and chemical tests confirmed traces of the bribe on her right-hand fingers. She was remanded to judicial custody after arrest.
