GHMC gives jobs to 32 kin of deceased employees under compassionate appointments

Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Monday provided jobs to 32 family members of employees who died while in service, under compassionate appointment rules. Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi handed over the appointment letters at the GHMC headquarters.

The appointments included 10 junior assistants, 17 office subordinates, and five public health workers. They were assigned postings across various GHMC departments.

Mayor Vijayalakshmi told the new recruits that they should work with dedication and bring a good name to GHMC and the government by delivering quality services to citizens. She stressed the importance of punctuality and urged them to perform without complaints.

“You have a bright future. Maintain a positive attitude and ensure you give your best performance in every assignment,” she said.

Additional Commissioner Venu Gopal and other senior officials attended the programme.
