Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on Saturday launched a large-scale entomology fogging initiative in Tarnaka, with Deputy Mayor Mothe Srilatha Shoban Reddy flagging off the programme from the local camp office.
Joined by TTUC State President Mothe Shoban Reddy, the Deputy Mayor underscored the importance of sustained mosquito control measures to mitigate public health risks. She stated that the mass fogging operation, conducted under the GHMC Secunderabad Zone, covered all streets and colonies within the Tarnaka Division.
Highlighting the civic body’s commitment to disease prevention, the Deputy Mayor assured that GHMC would continue to implement wide-ranging health and sanitation drives across the city. She acknowledged the efforts of the GHMC Entomology Department for executing the initiative effectively and expressed appreciation to all personnel involved.
