Hyderabad: GHMC Commissioner and Principal Census Officer R.V. Karnan inspected ongoing Census enumeration and Booth Level Officer (BLO) activities at Tukkuguda under Shamshabad Circle.
The Commissioner visited House Listing Blocks 29 and 30 located behind Market Lane in Tukkuguda. During the inspection, he reviewed the field-level enumeration process and assessed the progress of house listing activities.
Karnan interacted with enumerators and supervisory staff during the visit. He also examined verification procedures and reviewed the punctuality and efficiency of field operations.
Officials briefed the Commissioner on the ongoing door-to-door data collection exercise and the implementation of Census and Special Intensive Revision activities.
Census enumeration teams told to ensure accuracy
The Commissioner stressed the need for accurate and systematic data collection to ensure smooth implementation of Census activities.
He instructed officials to closely monitor attendance and staff performance during field duties. Karnan also directed teams to complete the enumeration process within the stipulated timeline.
Further, he asked field staff to maintain coordination and conduct thorough verification during door-to-door visits. He also stressed the importance of maintaining high data quality standards to avoid errors in Census and electoral revision activities.
Officials continued enumeration and verification activities in different areas under Shamshabad Circle following the inspection.
