Hyderabad: GHMC best stall award was presented to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation at the Numaish–2026 exhibition held in Nampally.
The stall was set up under the aegis of the Urban Community Development wing. It showcased handmade products created by 35 Self-Help Groups. The items were displayed and sold during the exhibition. Visitors responded positively to the range and quality of the exhibits.
Thousands of people who attended the annual Numaish stopped at the GHMC stall. Many appreciated the craftsmanship and effort of the SHG members. As a result, the stall drew significant public attention throughout the event.
GHMC best stall award recognises SHG contribution
The organisers presented a citation in the name of the GHMC Commissioner. Gosha Mahal Project Officer Vijayalakshmi received the appreciation certificate and memento on behalf of the Corporation.
GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan expressed happiness over the recognition. He congratulated the Self-Help Group members for showcasing their products. He also commended officials of the Urban Community Development wing for their coordination and support.
Officials said the recognition would encourage SHG members to expand their activities and strengthen community-based livelihoods in the city.
