Former minister Jeevan Reddy hospitalised in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former Minister Jeevan Reddy fell ill due to vomiting and diarrhoea and doctors admitted him to KIMS Hospital in Hyderabad.

Family members rushed Jeevan Reddy to the hospital after his condition deteriorated. Doctors began treatment immediately. However, hospital authorities have not yet issued a detailed medical bulletin.

The development comes amid his recent criticism of internal party developments. He has expressed dissatisfaction since Jagityal MLA Sanjay Kumar joined the Congress party. He openly opposed the induction and repeatedly raised objections in public forums.

Party leaders held multiple rounds of talks with him in recent months. Nevertheless, he continued to voice concerns. During the recent municipal elections, he fielded his own candidates separately and secured their victory.

Meanwhile, leaders remain in touch with hospital authorities and await further updates on his recovery.
