Hyderabad: A Thar crashed near Gurramguda on Saturday night, injuring five people and mangling both a motorcycle and a car. The accident occurred on the Injapur–Gurramguda route and shocked residents in the area.
Police said the vehicle was speeding and the driver was under the influence of alcohol. It first hit a motorcycle, then jumped the divider and rammed into another car. The collision crushed the Thar and shattered the bike.
A student riding pillion on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries. Responders rushed her to Osmania Hospital. Anirudh, the car’s owner, and the driver suffered major head wounds. Doctors admitted both to a hospital in Hastinapur. Two other victims also received treatment for injuries.
