Hyderabad: A sudden fire broke out at Tasty Food Court in Lenin Nagar under the Badangpet Circle limits, causing extensive property damage, according to police and local residents.
Residents noticed flames and thick smoke rising from the food court and immediately alerted the fire department and police. Fire personnel rushed to the location soon after receiving the alert and began firefighting operations. The team worked for some time and managed to bring the fire under control before it could spread to nearby structures.

Despite the timely response, the fire destroyed all materials and equipment inside the food centre. Locals said the blaze gutted the interior completely, leaving nothing salvageable. Officials confirmed that the shop remained closed when the fire broke out. As a result, no injuries were reported, and residents said the closure helped prevent a major mishap.
Police and local residents estimated the property loss at around ₹50 lakh. Preliminary assessment suggested that a short circuit may have triggered the fire. Police continued to examine the premises and surrounding area to determine the exact cause of the incident.
