Hyderabad: A Vedika Shopping Mall fire erupted late Tuesday night at Tower Circle in Jagtial after a short circuit sparked the flames.
Thick smoke and fire swept through the Mochi Bazaar area, alarming nearby traders. Firefighters rushed to the spot within minutes and launched firefighting operations.
The flames destroyed clothes and goods inside several shops. Firefighters’ quick action stopped the blaze from reaching nearby stores and homes, preventing a major disaster.
Officials are calculating the total loss caused by the Vedika Shopping Mall fire.
