Hyderabad, January 25: In a tragic incident near Velpur mandal’s Ameenapur outskirts in Nizamabad district, a speeding car lost control and overturned near the Nizam Sagar canal on Friday. The accident resulted in the death of Alluri Shravan Reddy, a 32-year-old farmer from Argul village in Jakranpally mandal.
According to reports, the driver was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and driving at high speed when the vehicle collided with a tree before overturning. Local residents witnessed the accident and promptly rescued Shravan Reddy, his wife Harika Reddy, and a relative, Dasharath Reddy, from the mangled car. Emergency services were alerted, and 108 ambulance personnel arrived at the scene, transporting the injured to Aas Super Multispeciality Hospital in Armur. Upon arrival, medical professionals declared Shravan Reddy deceased and transferred his body to the government hospital in Armur for a post-mortem examination. Dasharath Reddy, who sustained injuries, is currently receiving treatment at Aas Hospital.
The untimely death of the young farmer has cast a pall of gloom over the Alluri family and the entire Argul village. Shravan Reddy is survived by his wife, Harika Reddy, and their daughter, Sadhvi Reddy.
