Hyderabad: The Transport Department earned ₹43.57 lakh through the auction of fancy number for vehicle registration, which was conducted at the Khairatabad Central Zone Office on Tuesday.
During the online auction, the premium registration number TG09J 9999 drew the highest bid of ₹18 lakh. Keystone Infra Private Limited secured the number, officials said.

Ananthalakshmi Kumari Namala acquired the registration number TG09K 0006 for ₹7.06 lakh. Meanwhile, Neha Agarwal purchased TG09K 0005 for ₹1.89 lakh.
Srinivasa Constructions bought the number TG09K 0009 for ₹1 lakh. Similarly, Ishani Commodities Private Limited secured TG09K 0001 for ₹1 lakh.
Officials said the auction saw strong participation from bidders. They added that the exercise contributed significantly to the department’s revenue.
