In Telangana breaking news, MP Etela Rajender addressed the media regarding the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) leadership rotation and expressed confidence in the party’s future success in the state.
HYDERABAD: During a flag-hoisting ceremony in Cantonment on the occasion of the BJP’s foundation day, MP Etela Rajender spoke to the media about the party’s internal leadership dynamics and its prospects in Telangana. He emphasised that the BJP does not adhere to hereditary leadership, stating, “In our party, presidents do not remain in position for ten or twenty years as a legacy.”
Rajender highlighted the structured planning and comprehensive strategies of the BJP’s central leadership in Delhi. He noted that the party currently governs in approximately 70% of the states across India. Reflecting on past electoral performance, he mentioned that the BJP secured 35% of the vote share in the previous parliamentary elections, winning half of the Member of Parliament seats. He expressed optimism that in the upcoming elections, the people of Telangana would elect a BJP-led government.
Criticising the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party, Rajender remarked that the public has experienced their governance and is unlikely to vote for them again. He also commented on the Congress party’s performance, stating that within ten months, it has failed to make a significant impact among the populace. Rajender concluded by asserting that for the state’s secure and prosperous development, the BJP is perceived by the public as the only viable party, and he predicted electoral success for the BJP in any forthcoming election.
