Eatala Rajendar denies BJP exit rumours

Hyderabad: Eatala Rajendar dismissed speculation about an Eatala Rajendar BJP exit and said he had no plans to leave the party, calling the reports baseless.

Addressing a media conference on Sunday, he said rumours about his exit had been circulating for the past few days. He added that posters suggesting he would switch parties had appeared in Karimnagar. He also claimed that even some party members had shared them.

Rajendar said he was not someone who changed parties easily. He stated that shifting political allegiance was not like changing clothes. He clarified that there was no possibility of returning to the party led by K. Chandrashekar Rao.

He recalled his exit from the BRS five years ago. He said he faced harassment and was not allowed to speak openly at that time. He added that those circumstances led him to join the BJP.

Rajendar said he alone understood the difficulties he endured during that period. He alleged that KCR had subjected him to sustained pressure. He added that he never pursued positions for personal gain.

He also criticised Anumula Revanth Reddy. He claimed that public dissatisfaction with the Chief Minister was increasing. He further alleged that the current government was restricting media voices, similar to the previous regime.

Rajendar said the government was adopting a stance similar to the earlier administration on fee reimbursement. He warned that the Chief Minister could face consequences similar to KCR.

He noted that the BJP had multiple MPs from the GHMC region. He said the party would continue to raise public issues in the coming days. He reiterated that there was no truth in the Eatala Rajendar BJP exit rumours.
