DK Aruna joins CM Revanth at Mahabubnagar event, pledges Centre’s support

Hyderabad: In a rare display of political coordination, BJP MP DK Aruna shared the stage with Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy during his tour of Mahabubnagar district on Saturday, pledging the Centre’s full support for regional development. This Mahabubnagar event showcased bipartisan efforts for the area’s progress.

Speaking at a public meeting held at the MVS College grounds, DK Aruna accused the previous BRS government of neglecting Palamuru’s needs. She criticised its failure to complete the Palamuru project, calling it a betrayal of the region’s trust, especially significant during such a Mahabubnagar event.

“Many of those on this stage worked hard to defeat me in the past,” she remarked, “yet I will put that aside and work for the development of Palamuru.” At the Mahabubnagar event, her appeal for unity and progress was notable.

She added that the Centre is ready to support projects in the district, but the State must also contribute its share. “We must combine Central and State funds to push development forward. Ultimately, the responsibility for Palamuru’s progress lies with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,” she said.

Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy performed the bhoomi puja for the Mahabubnagar IIIT (Triple IT) campus at Chitteboyinapally in Jadcherla mandal, marking another key moment in the Mahabubnagar event.
