Hyderabad: A late-night commute turned deadly on Tuesday when a young shop worker was stabbed to death near Devi Bagh under the Kamatipura police limits. The Devi Bagh murder shocked residents as officers began investigating the motive behind the attack.
Aravind Ghosle, 25, lived in Musalayiguda in Kishanbagh and worked at a rice shop. He closed the shop around 10 pm and started home on his motorcycle. When he reached the Devi Bagh stretch, a group of unidentified men allegedly followed him, stopped his bike, and launched a violent knife assault.
Police said Aravind suffered several deep stab wounds and died at the scene. Early inquiries suggested a possible link to an alleged extra-marital relationship involving the victim. However, officers said they were exploring every angle to identify the exact motive.
