HYDERABAD, January 31: Members of the Deshpande Foundation met with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy to discuss their ongoing initiatives aimed at improving social and economic conditions in rural areas. The foundation, known for providing English training and skill development to students in government schools, sought government support to expand their programmes within the state.
In response, Chief Minister Reddy suggested that the foundation adopt the Government Women’s Degree College in Mahabubnagar to enhance educational opportunities for women in the region. He also recommended that they collaborate with Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalayas to further their impact.
The foundation members agreed to the Chief Minister’s suggestions and expressed their commitment to these initiatives. The meeting was attended by Ministers Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Sridhar Babu, Chief Minister’s Special Secretary Ajit Reddy, and foundation representatives Gururaj Deshpande, Jayshree Deshpande, Raju Reddy, and G. Anil.
