DCP Koti Reddy Reviews Crime Control Ahead of Bakrid in Medchal Zone

Hyderabad: DCP of Medchal Zone, Sri N. Koti Reddy, IPS, held a detailed crime review meeting with Station House Officers (SHOs) and Sub-Inspectors (SIs) under his jurisdiction, stressing key policing priorities ahead of the upcoming Bakrid festival.

During the meeting, held as part of regular law and order assessments, the DCP directed officers to speed up the disposal of pending cases and adopt proactive strategies to curb criminal activities. He emphasised close monitoring of rowdy-sheeters and habitual offenders to prevent any untoward incidents.

With Bakrid approaching, the DCP also reviewed security arrangements and instructed all field officers to maintain heightened vigilance and ensure peaceful celebrations. Strict adherence to instructions from senior officers was reiterated, and officers were reminded to uphold public safety as their foremost responsibility.

The session aimed to streamline policing efforts and reinforce discipline within the force while aligning with the broader objective of maintaining law and order across Medchal Zone.
