Hyderabad, February 4: Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender has addressed the recent Supreme Court notices concerning party defections, stating that he has not yet received any such notice. Speaking informally to the media during the Telangana Assembly session, he assured that he would respond appropriately upon receipt.
Nagender also criticised certain officials, asserting that he would not back down on key matters. Emphasising his stance, he remarked that he has never compromised in political or administrative issues and recalled maintaining the same approach even during the Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy administration. He pointed out that he currently faces 173 cases, underscoring his history of taking strong positions.
He further reiterated his opposition to the demolition of houses belonging to economically weaker sections, vowing to stand firm against actions such as the Hydra case. When questioned about the display of photographs of leaders like YSR and K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) in his home, he responded by questioning why it should be an issue, adding that every individual has their own political admirations.
