Damodar Rajanarsimha distributes cheques to MBBS students

Hyderabad: Telangana Health Minister C. Damodar Rajanarsimha distributed financial assistance cheques to MBBS students from the Uppal Assembly constituency.

The cheques were handed over with the support of Uppal MLA Bandari Lakshma Reddy.

A total of 15 students pursuing medical education received financial assistance during the programme. Each student received support of nearly ₹10 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, Damodar Rajanarsimha appreciated the initiative taken through the BLR Charitable Trust.

He said such financial assistance helps young aspirants continue higher medical education.

Former corporator Prabhudas attended the programme.

State leader Gandham Nageshwar Rao and Charlapalli division BRS president Nemuri Mahesh Goud were also present.

Several party leaders and workers participated in the event.
