Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy attended the CWC meeting in New Delhi on Friday, joining senior Congress leaders for key discussions ahead of the Parliament session.
The CWC meeting took place at Indira Bhavan under the chairmanship of AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge. Revanth Reddy participated alongside leaders such as Rahul Gandhi, K. C. Venugopal, Priyanka Gandhi, Jairam Ramesh, Salman Khurshid, Ambika Soni, Sachin Pilot, and Bhupesh Baghel.
He also joined Chief Ministers of Congress-ruled states, including Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu. Therefore, the meeting brought together senior leadership and state representatives.
CWC meeting discusses key national and political issues
Sources indicated that leaders discussed delimitation of Lok Sabha and Assembly constituencies during the meeting. In addition, they reviewed the issue of women’s reservation.
The discussions gained significance as Parliament is scheduled to hold special sessions from April 16 to 18. Meanwhile, leaders are expected to coordinate strategy on key legislative matters.
Party leaders held consultations on organisational and policy issues during the meeting. They also reviewed political developments at the national level.
The CWC meeting concluded after deliberations among senior leaders and Chief Ministers.
