Hyderabad: Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao directed officials to submit replies to pending Assembly questions ahead of the budget session beginning March 16.
All departments were asked to send answers immediately for questions received so far.
The Chief Secretary held a teleconference with secretaries to review preparations for the Assembly and Council sessions.

Ramakrishna Rao asked officials to submit all replies by the next day.
Officials must respond to questions raised by members without delay, he said.
He noted that key departments such as irrigation, health, municipal administration, energy and revenue have received a large number of questions.
Accordingly, he directed officials to prioritise these departments and submit responses quickly.
The Chief Secretary said the budget session will begin with the Governor’s address.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister will hold a special meeting on Sunday to review arrangements for the session.
Senior officials, including special chief secretaries, principal secretaries and secretaries, attended the review meeting.
