HYDERABAD, February 3: Congress MLA from Sangareddy, T. Jayaprakash Reddy, has launched a strong criticism against social media personality Theenmar Mallanna, accusing him of spreading misleading information. Reddy stated that Mallanna was falsely portraying the situation in Telangana for personal gain.
In a press statement, the Congress leader mentioned that Mallanna’s comments about the state’s development and political situation were not only baseless but also aimed at misleading the public. Reddy further claimed that such tactics were part of a broader attempt to destabilise the state’s political environment.
Reddy’s accusations come after Mallanna, known for his social media presence, made various claims about the governance of the state, which the MLA categorically rejected. The Congress leader urged Mallanna to be more responsible in his public statements, as they could have far-reaching consequences on public opinion.
At present, Mallanna has not responded to Reddy’s allegations. Political observers suggest that this exchange could lead to further debates on social media influence in state politics.
