Hyderabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is set to launch its Jai Hind Yatra on Wednesday in Medchal, aiming to take on what it calls the “divisive and low-grade politics” of the BJP.
TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud and AICC Secretary Sampath Kumar personally reviewed the rally arrangements on Tuesday, coordinating closely with local party leaders to ensure a massive turnout.
The rally will begin at VNR Engineering College and proceed up to KGR Convention Hall, where a public meeting is scheduled.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, cabinet ministers, and several top Congress leaders are expected to participate, making it a show of strength for the ruling party.
Party sources said the Yatra is being organised to counter what Congress sees as the BJP’s misinformation campaign and to present its own governance narrative directly to the public.
