Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy drew praise from the Congress high command after the party secured a landslide victory in the recent municipal elections in Telangana.
Senior leaders described the outcome as a strong endorsement of the State government’s welfare and development agenda. According to them, the results reflected public support for social empowerment and inclusive growth.
Congress president Mallikarjuna Kharge said the verdict showed people’s faith in the party’s focus on social justice and economic progress. Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi termed the results a clear approval of the Congress vision and congratulated party workers for their efforts.

AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said the victory demonstrated public trust in the government. She added that the result would strengthen the party’s resolve to build a prosperous Telangana.
Congress General Secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal described the outcome as an endorsement of the governance model under Revanth Reddy. Meanwhile, MP Manikkam Tagore and other senior leaders credited strong leadership and coordination for the sweeping win.
