CMC Commissioner conducts sanitation inspection in Kompally Circle

Hyderabad: CMC Commissioner G. Srijana conducted a sanitation inspection in Kompally Circle-56 and reviewed on-ground waste management activities through field verification.

During the visit, she interacted directly with residents and assessed the functioning of sanitation teams. Officials observed that door-to-door waste collection was taking place on alternate days in certain areas.

The Commissioner immediately directed staff to ensure daily D2D collection without fail. She warned that authorities would initiate action against concerned personnel if lapses continued.

Sanitation inspection flags irregular waste collection

During the sanitation inspection, officials identified households that were not handing over waste to SAT vehicles. Consequently, the Commissioner instructed teams to create awareness among residents on proper waste disposal.

She also directed officials to initiate penal action in cases of repeated violations. In addition, shopkeepers were instructed to keep visible garbage bins outside their establishments.

Further, she ordered the removal of abandoned vehicles obstructing public spaces. Moreover, she directed immediate lifting of swept waste to prevent secondary dumping.

The Commissioner reiterated that sanitation remains a non-negotiable priority. Therefore, strict monitoring will continue in Kompally Circle to ensure compliance and improve civic hygiene standards.
