CM Revanth Reddy offers Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan at Tirumala

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday offered prayers at the Lord Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirumala on the occasion of Vaikuntha Ekadashi. Revanth Reddy’s Tirumala visit was well received by officials.

On arrival, officials of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams received the Chief Minister and escorted him for early-morning darshan. Subsequently, temple priests honoured him with silk clothes and presented the Lord’s prasadams at the Ranganayakula Mandapam.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister participated in the Vaikuntha Dwara Darshan as part of the annual Vaikuntha Ekadashi celebrations. During his darshan at Tirumala, Revanth Reddy was present for the festival, which the temple is observing from December 30, 2025, to January 8, 2026.

Vaikuntha Dwaram open for limited period

At the same time, the Vaikuntha Dwaram opened on Tuesday and will remain accessible to devotees for 10 days. It will close on January 8, 2026. Notably, temple authorities open the Vaikuntha Dwaram only during this auspicious period each year. The significance of this period added to Revanth Reddy’s Tirumala darshan.

Along with the Chief Minister, several prominent personalities also offered prayers at Tirumala on the same day. These included Union Civil Aviation Minister K. Ram Mohan Naidu, Andhra Pradesh BC Welfare Minister S. Savitha, Mines Minister K. Ravindra, and actor Chiranjeevi.

Additionally, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams manages the Sri Venkateswara temple at Tirupati. The shrine is widely regarded as the richest Hindu temple in the world. Certainly, Revanth Reddy’s darshan added prominence to this spiritual location.
