Hyderabad: On the occasion of National Youth Day, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy called on the youth to live by the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and contribute to building a better society.
In a message marking the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister extended greetings to young people across the state. He urged them to move forward with confidence, courage, and a strong sense of social responsibility.
According to him, Swami Vivekananda’s teachings continue to guide generations. They inspire self-belief, discipline, and a spirit of service among the youth even today.
National Youth Day message highlights action and responsibility
The Chief Minister said Swami Vivekananda’s thoughts remain relevant for shaping the nation’s future. Moreover, he noted that the monk’s life and message are especially important in the present social context.
He emphasised that merely remembering great leaders was not enough. Instead, he said true respect lay in practising their ideals in daily life.
Therefore, Revanth Reddy urged the youth to turn inspiration into action. He called on them to work actively for social progress by following the values of service, discipline, and self-confidence taught by Swami Vivekananda.
