CM Revanth Reddy to tour Mahabubnagar district today

Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will continue his district tour on Saturday with a scheduled visit to the Mahabubnagar district.

During the visit, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for the RGUKT–IIIT expansion campus at Chittiboinapally in Jadcherla mandal. He will also lay foundation stones for several development works linked to different municipalities in the district. The programmes form part of the government’s district outreach initiative.

The Chief Minister will later interact with students from government schools and colleges. He will listen to their views on academic facilities, infrastructure and welfare-related issues. Officials said the interaction aims to understand student concerns directly.

Revanth Reddy to address public meeting, proceed to Medaram

In the second half of the day, Revanth Reddy will address a public meeting in the Mahabubnagar district. He is expected to speak on development initiatives and outline the government’s priorities.

After completing the district tour, the Chief Minister will travel to Medaram on Saturday night. On Sunday, he will offer prayers to Sammakka–Saralamma at Medaram. He will also hold a cabinet meeting with ministers at the same venue.

Earlier, during his visit to Adilabad district on Friday, Revanth Reddy criticised the previous BRS government. He said the earlier regime neglected the Adilabad district for ten years.
