Hyderabad: Municipal election polling continued peacefully across the state, barring stray incidents, as Chief Minister Revanth Reddy cast his vote in Kodangal.
The Chief Minister exercised his franchise at the Zilla Parishad Boys High School in Kodangal, which falls under his home constituency. Revanth Reddy casts vote amid tight security arrangements in the town.
Speaking to the media after voting, he said the ballot was the most powerful tool in a democracy. He urged citizens to vote responsibly for the development of towns and urban centres.
He called upon voters to treat participation as a civic duty and strengthen democratic governance. According to him, active public participation would ensure better local administration.

Authorities tightened security in Kodangal in view of the Chief Minister’s visit. Officials deployed additional personnel at polling stations to maintain order.
The Vikarabad District Collector and Superintendent of Police monitored polling arrangements closely. They reviewed security measures and ensured smooth conduct of voting.
Polling officials continued the process without disruption in most urban local bodies. Voters turned out steadily through the morning hours as authorities maintained vigil across the district.
