Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday directed officials to align educational and training programs with current industry demands as part of the Telangana Rising-2047 roadmap, while also urging expedited completion of the state’s Advanced Technology Centers (ATCs).
At a review meeting held at the Secretariat, Revanth reviewed progress on the ATC initiative. Officials briefed him that 111 ATCs are planned across three phases 25 in Phase 1, 40 in Phase 2, and 46 in Phase 3. Of these, 49 centers have been completed so far.
To accelerate the remaining work, the Chief Minister advised engaging experienced construction agencies where necessary. He also instructed the creation of a model ATC at Genome Valley focused on the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and life sciences sectors.
Officials were asked to submit detailed proposals, including land allocation and infrastructure planning, for a state-of-the-art training center to be built in the region.
