Hyderabad: Chief Minister Revanth Reddy expressed deep shock over the industrial accident at Pashamilaram in Sangareddy district and announced plans to visit the site on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister has been in constant touch with ministers Damodar Rajanarsimha and Vivek, gathering updates on ground-level rescue operations. He also reviewed the progress of rescue work with the DGP and Chief Secretary.
Revanth Reddy directed officials to intensify rescue operations and ensure that efforts continue without interruption.
A committee has been formed to oversee rescue operations and monitor their implementation, comprising Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao as chair, along with the Special CS for Disaster Management, Principal Secretary of the Labour Department, Health Secretary, and Additional DG Fire Services.
The panel has also been tasked with recommending measures to prevent similar industrial accidents in the future.
The Chief Minister stated that assistance would be extended to the families of those killed in the incident.
