Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu visited the residence of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka in Hyderabad on Saturday to bless the newly married couple in the family.
The Chandrababu Naidu Bhatti Vikramarka visit took place as the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister met Bhatti Vikramarka’s son Surya Vikramaditya and daughter-in-law Sakshi after their recent wedding.
Bhatti Vikramarka personally received Chandrababu Naidu at his residence. Soon after arriving, Naidu greeted the couple and presented them with a bouquet.
He conveyed his wishes and blessed the newlyweds, hoping they would lead a long and happy married life. The Chandrababu Naidu Bhatti Vikramarka visit also included a brief interaction between the two leaders.
Political observers noted that the meeting reflected cordial personal relations between leaders beyond political differences.
Chandrababu Naidu Bhatti Vikramarka visit follows earlier invitation
Bhatti Vikramarka had earlier travelled to Amaravati to personally invite Chandrababu Naidu to his son’s wedding.
However, Naidu could not attend the ceremony due to a busy schedule at that time. During his Hyderabad visit, he later met the couple at the deputy chief minister’s residence.
The wedding of Surya Vikramaditya and Sakshi took place on March 5 at the GMR Arena in Shamshabad.
Several political and film personalities attended the ceremony. Among them were AICC president Mallikarjun Kharge, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and actor Chiranjeevi.
The Chandrababu Naidu visit became a point of discussion in political circles as it highlighted personal goodwill between leaders from different political backgrounds.
Naidu spent some time interacting with Bhatti Vikramarka during the visit before conveying his blessings to the newly married couple.
