Hyderabad: Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar toured several of Hyderabad’s iconic cultural and historical landmarks on Saturday as part of his city visit. He arrived from Srisailam and began his tour at Golconda Fort, where officials from the Archaeological Survey of India briefed him on the site’s historical significance and architectural features.

Later in the day, he visited Hussain Sagar Lake and the Buddha statue, accompanied by Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy, Additional CEO Lokesh Kumar, Deputy CEO Satyavani, and other senior election officials. His itinerary also included a scheduled visit to Charminar in the evening.
The visit marked a brief but notable cultural detour during the Commissioner’s Telangana tour.
