Hyderabad: CARE Hospitals received multiple national honours at the AHPI Awards 2026 held during the two-day AHPI Global Conclave in Mumbai. The recognitions underscore the group’s continued leadership in patient safety, nursing excellence, and quality care.
Organised by the Association of Healthcare Providers India, the conclave was themed “Empowering Hospitals as Pillars of National Wellbeing.” It brought together top healthcare experts and institutions from across the country.
At the event, CARE Hospitals awards included the “Excellence in Quality – Beyond Accreditation” for both its Banjara Hills and Bhubaneswar units. The Banjara Hills facility also received the prestigious ‘Patient-Centric Hospital Award’. Additionally, CARE Hospitals, Hitech City, was recognised for ‘Excellence in Nursing Practices’, showcasing the role of nursing leadership in delivering high-quality care.

AHPI National President Dr. M.I. Sahadulla said the conclave was an important platform for sharing governance practices and encouraging hospitals to prioritise patient outcomes. He emphasised the importance of responsible technology use and stronger nursing systems.
CARE Hospitals CEO Dr. Pawan Kumar congratulated teams across all locations, stating that the awards reflected the shared commitment of doctors, nurses, and staff. He noted that forums like AHPI help in promoting best practices in healthcare delivery.
