Hyderabad: A car traveling from Kadthal to Hyderabad caught fire near Maktamadaram gate in Rangareddy district on Wednesday. Four passengers inside the vehicle escaped unharmed.
The fire broke out suddenly as the vehicle approached Maktamadaram. Flames quickly engulfed the car, but all occupants managed to exit safely. No injuries were reported.
The vehicle was completely destroyed in the blaze. The passengers were identified as youths who were travelling from Ventapoor in Talakondapally mandal. Officials suspect a short circuit triggered the fire.
Despite the severity of the incident, no police complaint was filed. Local authorities confirmed that the alertness of the passengers helped prevent a major disaster.
