HYDERABAD, 30 January 2025: A bomb threat call at Shamshabad Airport on Thursday morning prompted a security alert. An unidentified caller informed the Cyberabad Police Control Room that a bomb had been planted at the airport. Authorities immediately launched a thorough search operation.
Bomb squad and dog squad teams were deployed to inspect the premises. After an extensive search, no explosives or suspicious objects were found. Following an investigation, officials confirmed that the threat was a hoax.
Police traced the call to a man from Kamareddy district in Telangana. Upon further inquiry, they determined that the individual was mentally unstable. Authorities are handling the case accordingly.
