BJP launches Telangana protest campaign

Hyderabad: The BJP launched a 15-day statewide agitation on Saturday against the Congress government, marking the start of the BJP Telangana protest campaign.

State BJP president N. Ramchander Rao said the BJP Telangana protest campaign would begin immediately and include demonstrations across different parts of the state.

While releasing a poster highlighting what the party called “Congress failures,” Rao said the agitation aimed to bring public issues to the forefront.

He added that the BJP Telangana protest campaign would mobilise party workers at multiple administrative levels.

BJP Telangana protest programme announced

Rao said the first phase of the Telangana protest campaign would begin with demonstrations at mandal offices on March 16.

During the programme, party workers will submit memorandums to local authorities highlighting public grievances.

Later, on March 20, BJP workers will stage demonstrations in front of District Collector offices across all district headquarters.

According to Rao, the agitation aims to pressure the Congress government to address issues affecting people in the state.

BJP Telangana protest targets government policies

Meanwhile, the BJP leader said the party will continue raising public concerns through the Telangana protest campaign.

He also appealed to citizens to support the agitation and participate in the programmes organised across the state.

Rao further said the BJP remains committed to protecting the rights and welfare of people in Telangana.

In addition, he said the party will soon announce more programmes under the Telangana protest campaign.

The party will also release details of demonstrations planned for March 19 and March 20 as part of the agitation.
