Bike stunts can destroy lives, warns Hyderabad Police Commissioner Sajjanar

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Police Commissioner V. C. Sajjanar issued a strong warning against dangerous bike stunts on public roads, cautioning that such acts could destroy lives and lead to serious legal consequences.

In a post on X, the Commissioner said stunts performed on motorcycles might appear thrilling and offer momentary excitement. However, he warned that even a minor accident could leave a person bedridden for life. He added that reckless riding also endangers other road users.

Sajjanar urged youth not to sacrifice their future for social media likes or roadside heroism. He stressed that irresponsible riding could cause irreversible harm, not only to riders but also to innocent commuters.

Bike stunts warning highlights legal consequences

The Commissioner pointed out that performing dangerous stunts on bikes, especially with pillion riders, puts multiple lives at risk. He underlined that such behaviour amounts to a punishable offence under the law.

He cautioned that riders indulging in stunts could face criminal cases and long-term legal troubles. Sajjanar appealed to the public to drive responsibly and respect traffic rules in the interest of safety.
