Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka has directed Congress Ministers, legislators, MPs, and local unit heads to guarantee the success of the upcoming Kharge meet slated for July 4 at LB Stadium.
He reviewed arrangements for the event along with Telangana Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan, TPCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud, Hyderabad district in-charge Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, Ranga Reddy district in-charge Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, and DCC President Rohin Reddy. The group inspected plans and addressed media persons in the city.
Bhatti Vikramarka underlined that this would be the first time the All India Congress Committee (AICC) President Mallikarjun Kharge will directly interact with village-level Congress presidents, with Telangana chosen as the first state to host the initiative. Similar outreach programmes are planned later across other states.
Terming the event significant, he asked party leaders at all levels, including village, mandal, district presidents, MLAs, MPs, and Ministers, to be present at LB Stadium by 3 PM without exception.
He thanked the AICC for granting Telangana the opportunity to launch this unique format and appealed to the party rank and file to ensure a large turnout, describing it as a rare opportunity for direct engagement with Kharge.
